calligraphy and type design.

“Sharing to inspire”, is the main message of this festival, leading all designers exchange skillshares and inspire each other through lectures, professional workshops and competitions.

Berlin is a place full of enthusiasm with typography and art. The concept is based on the it’s the value in the history of Berlin Wall, which is the symbol of freedom and expression of social and political issues. The “Voice of the Wall” is 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the logo design based on graffiti letters on the Berlin Wall.
POSTER
To emphasize the concept of the event, the poster’s background is illustrated in a graffiti street art style. It shows the unique characteristics of Berlin city and the symbols associated with street art. The main words, including Typography, Type, Freedom, Free, and Berlin, are prominently featured to represent the event’s theme. The color palette consists of blue, orange, pink, black, and white, chosen to be as vibrant as the graffiti itself.
